Water Sanitation and Hygiene
Our goal is to improve public health, prevent disease, and uphold dignity by ensuring that every household and public facility has access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene.
We work in flood-prone, conflict-affected, and underserved areas to restore and improve access to clean water, safe sanitation, and essential hygiene services. We achieve this through drilling and rehabilitating boreholes, solarizing water yards, constructing flood-resilient and gender-sensitive latrines, distributing WASH Non-Food Items (NFIs), and promoting hygiene practices. We emphasize sustainability and local ownership by training Water Resource Management Committees, pump mechanics, and hygiene promoters to maintain infrastructure and champion safe practices. We also conduct safety audits and GBV risk assessments to ensure WASH facilities are inclusive, accessible, and protective for vulnerable groups, especially women, girls, and persons with disabilities.
