Shelter and Non-Food Items (SNFI)

We aim to restore security, privacy, and hope for displaced and disrupted families by integrating emergency relief with community-driven recovery efforts.
Our interventions include the distribution of emergency shelter kits, household items (blankets, mosquito nets, cooking sets), and dignity kits, as well as the construction and repair of shelters for the most vulnerable. Where markets are functional, CH uses cash and voucher assistance to give families the flexibility to meet their own needs while supporting the local economy. Gender and protection considerations are integrated throughout our programming to ensure safety and dignity, especially for women, children, and persons with disabilities. Our goal is to provide safe, dignified, and sustainable living conditions for displaced and vulnerable households.
Our Achievements in Shelter & Non-Food Items (SNFI)
We have improved access to basic shelter and household essentials for 257,710 individuals through comprehensive SNFI interventions.
