8:00 AM – Smiles at the Gate
As the sun rises, our centre buzzes to life. Children stream in, greeted by our education volunteers with warm smiles and morning songs. For many, this is the safest and most nurturing environment they know.
10:00 AM – Learning Through Play
From phonics to puzzles, math to music, every session is designed to spark curiosity. “I love learning about animals,” says 8-year-old Carol. “Today, we drew lions!”
1:00 PM – A Warm Meal and a Full Heart
Thanks to our partners, every child gets a nutritious lunch. For some, it may be the only full meal of the day. The feeding program not only nourishes young bodies but keeps attendance high.
2:00 PM – Mentorship and Support
Afternoons are for storytelling, counseling, and life-skills sessions. Our social workers engage teens in conversations around self-esteem, hygiene, and staying in school.
4:00 PM – Homeward Bound, Hopeful
As children leave, we see in their faces a mix of joy and hope — the kind of hope that comes from being seen, heard, and cared for.
