Roman (Viola) Brenda

Roman Viola Brenda serves as the Head of Operations at Coalition for Humanity (CH), where she provides strategic leadership across Human Resources, Procurement and Logistics, Administration, and Field Operations. She drives the development and implementation of systems and policies that strengthen operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and enable CH’s teams to deliver high-quality humanitarian and development programs across South Sudan.

With over seven years of progressive experience in humanitarian and development operations, Roman has developed a proven track record in streamlining HR strategies, establishing strong procurement and supply chain frameworks, and optimizing field support systems in complex contexts. She has successfully led initiatives that reduced operational costs, enhanced talent management, and improved organizational culture—empowering teams to work effectively and sustainably even in challenging environments.

Roman holds a master’s in human resource management from Liverpool John Moores University, a master’s in project management from Kampala University, and a bachelor’s in human resource management from Makerere University Business School. She has also earned professional certifications in conflict-sensitive recruitment and HR management, Gender equity and inclusion, alongside multiple capacity-building trainings in governance, leadership, and operational resilience.
