Food security and Livelihood (FSL)
Our goal is to end hunger, improve nutrition, and support self-reliance through inclusive, market-based, and climate-adaptive solutions.
Our comprehensive Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) program provides both emergency support and long-term resilience solutions. In emergency contexts, we distribute crop kits, vegetable seeds, fishing kits, and farming tools to restore food production for displaced and vulnerable households. Where appropriate, we also implement cash transfers and food voucher programs to support food access while stimulating local markets.
Beyond immediate relief, CH promotes climate-smart agriculture, sustainable farming techniques, and vocational training to strengthen household resilience and reduce future vulnerability. We also invest in youth and women’s economic empowerment through vocational skills development and establishing and revitalizing Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs).
