Jimmy Shilaho

Head of Programs

Shilaho is a manager, training design and curriculum development expert who has more than 20 years of training and managerial experience. He is currently serving as the head of programs at Coalition for Humanity but previously worked as a lecturer, head of department, head of academic affairs and principal at various colleges and universities. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Egerton University. He previously served the organization as programs manager in charge of Health and Nutrition, Education, Protection and Gender Based Violence.

He is an accomplished training design and curriculum development expert who has developed and delivered trainings for many organizations, including a Diploma in Community Health program for Moi University, Leadership and Management Training for catholic priests and brothers for the Vincentian Brothers in Karen, Small-Scale Business Development Training for the Don Bosco Foundation, Rural Development and Citizen Participation Training manuals for GIZ, among others. On the side, Shilaho is a published author with 20 completed books and published works on diverse topics. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education to further his pedagogical and andragogical skills.
